Transition Bootcamp #2: Post-Secondary Programs & Social Opportunities @ DSG

Join DSG staff in part two of our four-part session designed to help teens transition into adulthood. Both teens and parents/guardians attend. Dinner provided.

Cookie Decorating with Sweet Ideas Bakery @DSG

Bring your decorating skills, learn some new ones, and hang out with friends while we learn to decorate cookies in a whole new way. Then eat them afterwards or take them home to share.

Let’s play some BINGO with the senior citizens at the nearby independent living facility. Prizes will be awarded, snacks will be provided, and fun will be had by all!

Think EVERYTHING snow, only all inside! Snacks provided. You will be invoiced for a $21 one time fee after you register.

Winter Break Camp:Ice Skating & Lunch @ Crown Center

Teens will go ice skating and have lunch. Drop off and pick up at Crown Center. You will be invoiced for a $21 one time fee after you register, if you have not already been invoiced for another winter break activity.

Winter Break Camp: Job Tour @ Pie Five Pizza

Teens will learn job skills necessary to work at Pie Five, make their own lunch, then we will transport back to DSG.  You will be invoiced for a $21 one time fee after you register, if you have not already been invoiced for another winter break activity.

Board & Brush Creative Studio

Let’s learn to create in a new way! Teens will make a personalized wood sign to take home. Many options to choose from! You will be sent an email link closer to the time of the event so that teens can choose their design and a template can be made ahead of time by the talented artists.

Intergenerational Bingo Night @DSG

Bring your favorite board game to challenge our senior friends from The Welstone senior living, who will be stopping by for some fun! The Wii will be ready for some action too! Snacks provided.

Pet Store/ Shelter Job Tour @ Unleashed Pet Shelter and Go-Pet-Go

Teens will visit with the animals at the Unleashed Pet Shelter to show them some love. They will also job tour the Go-Pet-Go on Johnson Dr. Transportation provided between locations. Teens will return to DSG for an activity to give back to the animal community.
