Wednesday May 10th 6:00 PM-8:00 PM
Main Event Bowling and Video Games

NO TRANSPORTATION: Meet at Main Event 11950 N Kansas City Road Olathe, KS.
Teens will bowl and play video games with their friends. Snacks are on your own so send money for concessions if your teen will be hungry. 

 
Wednesday May 17th 6:00 PM-8:00 PM
Intergenerational Bingo Night

Teens will meet at DSG office and walk to Welstone Retirement Community to play Bingo with the residents. Light snack will be provided. 


Wednesday May 24th 6:00 PM-8:00 PM
STARS Cooking Class at the DSG Office
Teens will spend the evening learning how to make some healthy summer time treats. 

NO STARS May 31st in observation of the Memorial Day Holiday!

Transition Boot Camp @ DSG
Transition Boot Camp is for both parents and their  teen(s) with Down syndrome. This session will cover community living and guardianship

Wednesday, April 5th 6:00-8:00pm
Spring Fling Dance @ DSG
Dance the night away with friends as we celebrate the start of (hopefully) warm weather! Teens may bring a date with or without a disability. Snacks will be provided.

Wednesday, April 12th
No STARS!
Staff and volunteers will be working tirelessly in preparation for the DSG prom! 

Wednesday, April 19th 6:00pm-8:00pm
Board Game Night @ DSG
STARS teens are encouraged to bring their favorite board game to share with friends! Snacks provided.

Picnic @ Park Hill South Gymnasium
STARS teens are invited to attend a picnic hosted by the Park Hill South Student Council!
No Transportation Provided

Mission Police Cookout@ DSG
Mission PD will show the teens what it is like to work at a police department, and then grill burgers and hot dogs after!
