DSG is proud to serve families in the Central Missouri area! We offer a variety of programs and services to assist families and professionals in supporting individuals with Down syndrome to acheive their full potential. 

Upcoming events in Central Missouri 

February 27th All Ages Tumbling and Cheer - Thursday from 6:00-8:00 PM – Children 11 years and younger (practicing from 6-7 PM) will work on gross motor skills while also working on the fundamentals of tumbling, balance, core strength and flexibility. Teens and adults 12 years and older (practicing from 7-8 PM) will work on the basics of cheerleading, jumps and stunting. Please register here.

March 13th Teen/Adult Building Healthy RelationshipsFriday from 6:00-8:00 PM at the Ronald McDonald House in Columbia – Teens and adults are invited to step up their relationship building skills and learn more about maintaining positive relationships through the Circles of Relationships programs. We will discuss developing our self-esteem, maintaining friendships and healthy boundaries. Please register here.

March 14th New Parent BreakfastSaturday from 9:00-11:00 AM at the Activity Resource Center in Columbia - Join other parents of 0-5 year old’s with Down syndrome for a great morning of networking and sharing questions, fears, success stories, and resources. Please register here.

March 31st Music Therapy- Tuesday from 6:00-7:00 PM at Giving Song (located at 1905 Cherry Hill Drive, Suite 102, Columbia, MO 65203) – Children 11 years and younger will dance and sing with musical therapist from Giving Song. Music therapy is the clinical and evidence-based use of music interventions to promote wellness, improve communication, enhance memory, promote physical rehabilitation, increase attention, and much more.
