DSG celebrates World Down Syndrome Day on 3/21 by recognizing community members who provide dedicated and exemplary service to individuals with Down syndrome and their families.

Does my family member need a guardian?
One of the critical issues facing parents, siblings or other concerned family members of an adult who has Down syndrome is how to best assist and protect him or her when it comes to making legal, financial and medical decisions. View some helpful resources on this topic here.
The Down Syndrome Guild of Greater Kansas City is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to provide support and resources for individuals with Down syndrome, their families and the professionals who serve them. DSG seeks to provide the entire community with information and education to broaden awareness and foster positive attitudes regarding people with Down syndrome.
DSG invites you to learn more about Down syndrome, our programs and services and to get involved. Mark your calendars for the 20th Annual Step Up Walk -Saturday October 17th, from 12:00pm - 4:00pm at Arrowhead Stadium - Lot C.
Help us reach this year's goal of $550,000! Register your team online and start fundraising today!
Join us for a day of family fun, as together, we celebrate those with Down syndrome! The Step Up walk is a one-mile walk around Arrowhead stadium.
Guests of all ages will enjoy a great lunch, moonwalks, rock climbing wall, bungee pods, tattoos, clowns, pony rides, carnival games, music, dancing and much much more!
